shift into thrive!

When I work with people providing career advice, I want them to THRIVE at work. What does it mean to THRIVE?  It means to flourish; prosper; bloom; sprout; proliferate.  Below are the three primary areas where I can help you THRIVE in your careers  Think of this as a three-legged stool, and when all of the legs are long and the same length, you're able to THRIVE, which allows you to achieve enjoyable, fulfilling, and meaningful work.

There are three components to THRIVE

  1. YOU (the best version of you)

    1. Your experience

      1. Previous jobs

      2. Life experiences

      3. Hobbies

      4. Your values

        1. Upbringing

        2. Personal

      5. Goals

        1. Individual

        2. Family

      6. Self-care

        1. Resilient

        2. Growth mindset

  2. THE WORK YOU DO (daily tasks and team support)

    1. Fulfilling is the goal

    2. What do you enjoy doing?

    3. What are your strengths?

  3. WHERE YOU WORK (should feel like you belong)

    1. Leadership

      1. Supports mastery, autonomy, and purpose

      2. Advocates for you

    2. Teammates

      1. Accountability is important to others

      2. Support one another

      3. Morale is strong

    3. Organizational mission

      1. Aligned with your beliefs/values

      2. Does it feel right?

      3. Is it fulfilling?

    4. Company culture

      1. Rewarding

      2. Positive

      3. Engaging

When I work with clients, I help focus on these three primary areas to ensure a balanced approach to the work-a-day world which most often leads to greater job satisfaction and a healthier work-family-self life balance.
