WHY: I LOVE HELPING PEOPLE. I get so much joy, energy, and fulfillment from serving and working with people to help them accomplish their goals and objectives.

HOW: One of the ways I love helping people is with what I call career resiliency - leadership coaching and job transition.  Helping people overcome challenges, grow, and develop, both personally and professionally, in their roles through leadership coaching gives me great satisfaction.  I also help people with job transition which is often the result of a person becoming frustrated, tired, or resentful where they work, and upon changing can result in a new, fresh perspective on life.

WHAT: Through leadership coaching, I help people grow into better leaders, which has a positive impact on their team's performance and their organization's culture.  Helping people achieve new and often better jobs results in them being in a better place, mentally, which can be transformative in life to both the individual and their family.

I believe resiliency in our careers is essential to supporting a healthy work, family, self life balance. I help people maintain a more resilient career by partnering with them to discuss workplace challenges, better understand their strengths, the kind of work they enjoy doing, and the types of places they’re most comfortable working. I also help people with career transition tools such as résumé writing, job search strategies, networking, interview preparation, and LinkedIn profile updating.

For two decades, I've helped hundreds of people address situations at work (team dynamics, leadership issues, development) and, when necessary, successfully transition to new jobs by working with them on resume writing, interview preparation, job searches, LinkedIn profile updating, networking, etc.  After attaining my ICF-accredited Expert Associate Leadership Coach certification from Flatter Leadership Academy in May 2024, I made the bold decision to formalize my coaching business.

When people work with a career coach, they have a greater ability to learn and grow where they're currently employed in addition to understanding the opportunities for a successful job or career transition.  Through curated conversations I help people better understand their current situation (leadership role, talents and skills, what kind of work they love doing, and the best culture in which they like working), and I help them develop methods for positioning themselves for smoother, future transitions.
